Mommy’s Milk welcomes the opportunity to partner with you to provide research opportunities to your lactating patients. Our program depends on the participation of lactating moms so researchers can examine the properties of human milk and its impact on child health and development.

Do you or your patients have questions about medications and other exposures during lactation? Check out the resource LactRx. LactRx by MotherToBaby is a free app that provides current information on the use of medications, vaccines, and more while breastfeeding. The app provides easy access to the LactMed database, a resource from the National Library of Medicine (NLM). LactRx gets monthly updates from NLM, allowing the most up-to-date information to be shared with users. It is designed for use by breastfeeding women, providers, and health care professionals.

This resource is an extension of MotherToBaby’s free counseling services which includes access to information specialists on breastfeeding and pregnancy exposures by phone, text, email, and live chat.
